Day 1 – Foundations of Surveillance
- Introduction to surveillance principles & terminology
- Role and objectives of surveillance operators
- Legal and ethical considerations
- Surveillance equipment overview (covert cameras, comms, mapping)
- Surveillance team roles: foot, mobile, static, and technical
- Note-taking, observation logs, and report writing basics
Day 2 – Foot Surveillance Techniques
- Urban foot-follow techniques (close, medium, loose tailing)
- Team coordination and communication
- Disguises and blend techniques
- Entry/exit point surveillance
- Counter-surveillance awareness and detection risks
- Practical field exercises (city-based)
Day 3 – Mobile & Static Surveillance
- Vehicle surveillance: single and multi-vehicle tactics
- Radio procedures and discreet comms
- Static surveillance: hide selection, cover stories, vehicle hides
- Tactical map marking and area familiarity
- Mobile-follow drills in live traffic conditions
- License plate and suspect behavior observation
